First, in a medium bowl whisk together the dry ingredients.

In a separate large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, maple syrup, and egg until smooth.

Next, pour in the molasses. Stir until the molasses is incorporated.

Then, gradually add the almond mixture, stirring well after each addition.

Then, using a large cookie scoop, scoop out balls of dough and place them 2 inches apart.

Finally, bake the cookies for 12-14 minutes, watching for the edges to darken and crisp up.

Let them cool on the baking sheets for 10 minutes then transfer them to a wire cooling rack.
