First, pat the chicken dry, season chicken with salt and pepper, and add to a hot large skillet.

Flip the chicken after 4-5 minutes and cook on the other side for another 4-5. You want to add color but not fully cook. Then transfer the golden brown chicken to a plate.

Next, add water, and maple syrup, along with the garlic, rosemary, and parsley. Stir well, scraping up the browned bits, and bring to a low boil.

Then reduce the heat and stir in the vinegar and mustard.

Finally, you are left with a really delicious sauce to glaze the chicken with.

Add the chicken back into the pan and baste it well with the sauce. Pop the pan into the oven for 15 minutes, turning and basting 2 or 3 times while it cooks.
