Season the beef with salt and pepper and cook until browned. Then, add in the taco seasonings.

Add the water and stir. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat and simmer.

Then, assemble the salad. Start with a bed of lettuce in a bowl.

Next, top the lettuce with the cooked beef.

Then crumble on the tortilla chips. These add crunch and texture to the dish.

Finally, add your favorite toppings. We like salsa, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole.
