Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment and set aside.
  • Place the flour, sea salt, and pepper in a large Ziploc bag. Add the chicken wings, seal the bag and shake them really well to coat each one.
  • Add the olive oil, reseal the bag and shake it around really well once again to coat each wing.
  • Place them on the prepared baking sheets, 15 per sheet, spacing them evenly so they don't touch.
  • Place in the oven, and bake for 4o minutes, flipping the wings after 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, place the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan, and over low heat, stir the ingredients together. Leave to simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the baked wings from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the sauce over them and toss or stir the wings until they are well coated and serve. Or just toss them in the saucepan and save the extra dishes.

Notes

  • Dip the crispy baked chicken wings into blue cheese dressing to offset the heat from the spicy cayenne pepper in the buffalo sauce
  • Or try one of our homemade ranch dressings - Spicy Ranch or Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing
  • Serve with carrot sticks and celery sticks for that classic pub feel.
  • Substitute garlic powder instead of onion powder for a different flavor.
  • For gluten-free options use brown rice flour or gluten free all-purpose flour.
