Fried Bananas

How to make healthy Fried Bananas! No sugar added and pan fried with vanilla and cinnamon. Enjoy these caramelized fried bananas as desserts with ice cream or yogurt or on their own! This is one of those super easy recipes you can make in 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, sliced into 1 inch thick slices **Use an unripe banana - not green but not brown - nice and yellow**
  • 1 tbsp butter **For vegans use Earth Balance or Coconut Oil**
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • In a small skillet add the butter, ground cinnamon and vanilla over medium heat. Stir to combine and heat until bubbling.
  • Add in the banana slices and let cook for 3-5 minutes until browned on the bottom then flip. Cook for another 3-5 letting the other side crisp and brown.
  • Remove from heat and enjoy warm on its own or with yogurt or ice cream.
