Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats

One of my most favorite snacks are these Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats. They are sweet and chewy and peanut buttery. Yum, right? I love rice puff recipes, especially when they are simple and no bake. Remember this recipe for rice krispie peanut butter treats to satisfy your cravings.

  1. Line a tray with parchment paper and set it aside.

  2. Measure the rice crispies into a medium mixing bowl and set the bowl aside.

  3. Set a small saucepan over medium-low heat and stir together the peanut butter and brown rice syrup. Stirring frequently, cook until combined, about 2-3 minutes. Be sure to keep stirring to make sure it won't burn.

  4. When the peanut butter mixture is blended together remove from heat and stir in the vanilla. Pour it over the rice cereal and mix it together well. Use a spatula or your fingers.

  5. Form into heaping tablespoon-sized balls and place them on the prepared tray. When the mixture starts to stick to your hands, wet them a bit to prevent it. You could also use a small cookie scoop if you have one.

  6. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to firm up.

  7. Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 7 days.

  • use a fresh jar of drippy peanut butter for the best results.
  • substitute any nut butter.
  • add chocolate chips for a peanut butter cup twist.
