How to Toast Nuts. Have you wondered How to Toast Nuts on a Stove top? This easy recipe is almost not even a recipe but it IS a useful technique for meal prep as having toasted nuts on hand for salads or for snacking is always great to have.

3/4 cup nuts *** I used pecans ***
Heat heavy bottomed pan over medium heat and add in the nuts
Spread nuts evenly over the pan surface and let them sit for 10 seconds or so, then stir again
Keep stirring for about 3-4 minutes or until the nuts become fragrant.
Watch that they don't burn on any hotspots.
Remove from heat and let cool in the pan, giving them a stir every so often.
Store in a glass jar for up to a week.
