How to Toast Nuts. Have you wondered How to Toast Nuts on a Stove top? This easy recipe is almost not even a recipe but it IS a useful technique for meal prep as having toasted nuts on hand for salads or for snacking is always great to have.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup nuts *** I used pecans ***

Instructions

  • Heat heavy bottomed pan over medium heat and add in the nuts
  • Spread nuts evenly over the pan surface and let them sit for 10 seconds or so, then stir again
  • Keep stirring for about 3-4 minutes or until the nuts become fragrant.
  • Watch that they don't burn on any hotspots.
  • Remove from heat and let cool in the pan, giving them a stir every so often.
  • Store in a glass jar for up to a week.
