Chocolate covered blueberries are a tasty and easy snack to make for yourself as a healthy treat. We show you how to make this sweet treat here at home with only 3 ingredients!
In a small saucepan, add chocolate chips and coconut oil and set over low heat, stirring until melted and glossy.
Remove from heat and add the dried blueberries. Stir them well to coat each one.
Spread them onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and place them in the freezer for about thirty minutes to harden. Transfer to a Ziploc bag and store in the freezer.
Notes
I recommend keeping these in a cool place like the fridge or freezer so they don't get melty. They are much better cold from the fridge or freezer.
If you want to make these in the microwave melt the chocolate and coconut oil together in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave it in 5 or 10 second intervals, stirring in between until it is nice and glossy.
White chocolate would be a fun substitution! Or try other dried fruit like raspberries, strawberries, and bananas. Even candied lemons or limes would be delish dipped in the chocolate.
