Ingredients

  • 4 cups thinly shredded red cabbage *about half a head
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion *about half an onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • tsp fine sea salt
  • tsp fresh ground pepper

Instructions

  • Place the shredded cabbage, sliced onions, and minced garlic in a large mixing bowl.
  • Pour the lime juice over and add salt and pepper. Stir well to combine everything.
  • Cover tightly and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours - up to overnight.
