Avocado Cilantro Dressing

This easy homemade Avocado Cilantro Dressing is fresh, delicious, and super creamy. This silky sauce has a vibrant green color and rich texture. Simple to make and ready in under 5 minutes!

Ingredients

  • ½ avocado
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • ½ cup cilantro leaves
  • ½ tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ tsp fine sea salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  • Scoop the flesh from the avocado and cut it into large chunks.
  • Place all ingredients into a large jar (or blender/food processor).
  • Blend, using an immersion blender or regular blender, and completely mix everything together until smooth and pourable.

Storage

Store any leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days.
In our experience, we haven't had much success freezing and don't really recommend it. The texture is different after thawing and simply not as flavorful and delicious as when fresh.
