Crispy  Oven-Baked Buffalo Wings

This Oven Baked Chicken Wings recipe is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The flavor will blow you away! Includes an easy homemade buffalo sauce.

We buy our wings at the meat market counter so we can get all wingettes vs drummettes. What is your favorite? Flats or drumsticks?

Start by preheating the oven and lining the baking sheets with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Next, add the flour, salt, and pepper to a large Ziploc bag.

Let's get started!

Then, pat the wings dry using paper towels and place into the bag. Shake well. so each wing gets coated with flour and spices mixture.

Step 2

Add a tablespoon of olive oil. This is why we bake wings. Wings in the oven have so much less saturated fat and grease than frying!

Step 3

Line the wings up on the baking sheet then pop them into the oven. Flip them over at the halfway point.

Step 4

Meanwhile, make the homemade Buffalo sauce. Add the Franks Red Hot Sauce to a medium saucepan along with butter, sugar, onion powder, and coconut aminos. Heat over medium-low for five minutes, stirring the melted butter into the sauce.

Step 5

Once the wings have finished baking, place them into the saucepan with the hot sauce. Stir them well to coat.
