1/4 cup dates 1/4 cup mustard 2 tbsp olive oil or grapeseed oil 2 tbsp water 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice 2 tbsp avocado oil mayo (or homemade whole 30 mayo)
Firstly, if your dates aren't soft soak them in hot water for a couple of minutes so they blend easier into the mixture.
Add all of the ingredients except the mayonnaise to your blender. Blend until smooth, about 1 minute.
Use a spatula and empty the blender into a bowl, scraping down the sides of the blender with the spatula to get all of the mixture out.
Stir in the mayonnaise until fully incorporated.
Serve immediately and store any leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
