  • Start by heating the oven to 400°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the pita bread on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Spread the BBQ sauce evenly onto the pita bread. Then, sprinkle on the cheese, followed by the cooked chicken and sliced onions.
  • Place the baking sheet into the preheated oven and cook for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  • Remove the pita pizza from the oven and transfer it to a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, cut it into slices.

To Store: If you have leftover pita pizza, allow it to cool completely at room temperature. Once cooled, place the pizza in an airtight container or tightly wrap it with plastic wrap. Refrigerate the pizza for 3-4 days.
To Reheat: For best results, reheat refrigerated pita pizza in a preheated oven or toaster oven. Place the pizza on a baking sheet and bake at 350° until heated through and the cheese is melted. Another option is to reheat individual slices in the microwave for a quick solution.
