Instructions

  • Start by preheating your oven to 400° and lining a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Add the maple syrup, butter, sugar, garlic, salt, and chili flakes to a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Simmer until the butter has melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Place the carrots onto the prepared baking sheet and pour the maple glaze mixture overtop. Stir well to coat the carrots.
  • Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring the carrots every 8-10 minutes to make sure nothing burns. Once the carrots are fork-tender, they are ready.
  • Sprinkle with a pinch of flaked sea salt (optional) and serve warm.
