- coconut sugar – Just a sprinkle of added sweetness. This is totally optional.

- large bag – We use a large Ziploc bag and wash it out afterward to reuse it.

Step 1
First, start by giving the apples a good wash. We usually do this by holding the apple under running cold water and lightly removing any dirt or debris with our fingers.
However, if you’re concerned about pesticide residue, you can create a vinegar solution for a deeper clean. Do this by mixing 1 part vinegar (white or apple cider vinegar) with 3 parts water and soaking the fruit in this solution for 3-5 minutes, then rinse under cold water and dry.
Step 2
Next, slice the washed apples into slices.
Thin slices or thick slices – it’s up to you! We leave the skin on for some added fiber.
Step 3
Then, place the apple wedges into the baggie.
Sprinkle in the cinnamon and coconut sugar overtop of the apples.
Step 4
Finally, close the bag and give it all a good shake. You want all of the apple slices to be coated well with the cinnamon and sugar.
It doesn’t take too long as the juices from apples help them to stick fairly easily.
Step 5
Enjoy this snack right away or pop the whole bag into the fridge and you will have a crisp, tasty treat ready for eating.

- 2 apples

Instructions
- Wash the apples, then remove the cores and cut them into 1-inch thick slices.
- Next, add the apple slices into a large Ziploc baggie and sprinkle the cinnamon and coconut sugar on top. Zip the bag and give it a good shake, ensuring the slices are all well coated.
