Instructions

Step 1
Start by lining a loaf pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
Step 2
Then, in a medium-sized mixing bowl, mix the peanut butter, coconut oil, and maple syrup. Stir it until smooth and everything is fully incorporated.
Step 3
Next, pour the mixture into the parchment-lined loaf pan in an even layer.
Step 4
Then, sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top.
Pop the pan into the freezer. It will take 30-45 minutes to set.
Step 5
Finally, remove the dish from the freezer and cut it into squares.
Substitutions
- Any nut butter will work in this recipe! Cashew butter, sunflower seed butter, and almond butter all taste fantastic.
- Use honey as a substitute for the maple syrup.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Freezer Fudge
Ingredients
- 1 cup natural peanut butter
- ¼ cup coconut oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips
- ¼ tsp sea salt *if your peanut butter isn't salted.
Instructions
- Line a standard loaf pan with parchment paper and set aside.

I love the wholesome ingredients used in this delicious fudge! I have been craving fudge, but hate loading up on the super sugary varieties. This satisfied my sweet tooth. Only problem is the kids liked it too, so I am going to have to hide it at the back of the freezer~

Hey Tris! The coconut oil is what helps this fudge to become solid once frozen. I can’t think of a substitute that has the same health benefits.

Hey guys, I might be the one Sharon refers to as having the coconut allergy. Coconut oil-can’t do it. Coconut Milk-Can’t do it. I subbed clarified butter (ghee) for the coconut oil and it worked great. I have used ghee in place of coconut oil in many similar recipes and it is a great replacement, providing you can do butter 🙂

I was thinking to add some unflavored (or chocolate) protein powder to these. I don’t think it will mess with the consistency since that stuff blends so well. Good for a post workout treat! What do you all think?
