Is a gluten intolerance is stopping you from enjoying all of those breaded goodies you love? Well, look no further!
This easy recipe is packed with the popular Italian flavours you are so familiar with. To make it gluten free I replaced the traditional wheat bread based crumbs with ground almonds.
I threw the dice and it came up big! I loved the taste and the consistency was totally comparable to what you may be used to regular bread crumbs.
Most of the spices are probably ones you already have kicking around in your cupboard. Things like dried oregano, onion & garlic powders, chili flakes, and of course, sea salt and fresh pepper.
Now for the hard part. –> insert winky face <—
Stir it all together.
I foresee this being a super versatile item. I’ve already made a delicious, healthier breaded chicken using this recipe and it worked like a charm. There are lots of ideas brewing around in my brain featuring these ‘bread’ crumbs. Stay tuned! 🙂
